Who we are
This website, oaklandermarket.com, is the in-room market of The Oaklander Hotel, 5130 Bigelow Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. You can reach the front desk at 412.578.8500.
What this site collects
Your cart stays on your device. When you tap Buy Now, the item is saved in your own browser's local storage so the cart remembers it between pages. It is not sent anywhere until you send an order request, and you can empty it at any time from the Cart page.
Order requests. When you send an order request we receive what you type into the form: your name, room number, phone number or email, any notes, and the items in your cart. We also record the time, the page you were on and your IP address, which helps us tell real requests from automated spam. We use this only to fill your order and charge it to your room. We do not sell it or share it with anyone outside the hotel and the service providers named below.
No tracking. This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies.
Service providers
- Cloudflare hosts the website and stores order requests on the hotel's behalf.
- Miles Media, the hotel's web developer, maintains the site and can see order requests when fixing a problem.
Links to other sites
Room Service, Oaklander Home and the social media icons open other websites (Spirits & Tales, theoaklanderhotel.com, Facebook and Instagram). Their own privacy policies apply there.
How long we keep it
Order requests are kept for as long as the hotel needs them to fill and bill your order and to keep its records.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call the front desk at 412.578.8500 or ask at the desk in person.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
